Tryouts for the Granite City Junior Olympic Club  Invitational  15's & 17's Teams will be held on Nov 17th at St. Paul's Gym.

Tryouts for the Granite City Junior Olympic Club 12's through 18's teams well be held  on November 25th at Halenbeck Hall on the SCSU Campus

Note:  All paperwork must be completed on the day of tryouts prior to the player entering the gym.
 

In order to become eligible for a team, you MUST be present at these tryouts.  PLEASE NOTE: We ask that you do not wear a numbered jersey to the tryouts.

 We will be holding a tryout on November 17th, 2007 at St. Paul's Gym (1215 11th Avenue North, St. Cloud).  There are two session's for this tryout however, players must attend both sessions in order to be considered for the team.  Session I begins at 10:00 a.m. and Session II at 1:30 p.m. 

Tryouts for the Granite City JO volleyball teams will be held on Sunday, November 25th at Halenbeck Hall on the SCSU Campus.  Please see specific age tryout times listed below.  You may park in the M lot and enter through Door 1

Please try out at your true age group even if you think you will be playing up an age.  We need to compare you with your peers.  If you only try out at an older age, there is no basis for comparison

The tryout staff reserves the right to ask a player of a higher skill level to stay and try out for the next age bracket if it is felt that the next age bracket may be more of a challenge for that player’s talent.

The tryout evaluators will review the results and assemble the teams on the Tuesday evening following the tryouts.  Team placement announcements will be posted on this web site (please click on the "Teams" tab to see a listing of the players for each team).  Each player trying out for a Granite City team will be contact by telephone regarding team placement.  Please do not call the club staff asking for advance placement information. 

Tryout times and eligibility guidelines:

           16 & Under must be born on or after September 1, 1991 or in Grade 10

           17 & Under must be born on or after September 1, 1990 or in Grade 11
           18 & Under must be born on or after September 1, 1989 or in Grade 12
